The health check will be conducted in two sessions.

On the day of Nurse's Consultation, the following will be performed:

On the day of Doctor's Consultation, the following will be performed:

* A Combination Package is ONLY applicable to a couple attending the Doctor's Consultation TOGETHER. A couple in Combination Package will share the same medical record folder, report folder and receipt.

  • Please allow adequate time for the consultations and examinations:

    • The Nurse's Consultation may take around 1 hour, including blood taking.

    • The Doctor's Consultation may take 1-2 hours.

    • Special examinations may take 1-2 hours, depending on the type of examinations.

  • You can take your prescription medications with clear water as usual.

  • Cervical smear (Pap smear) test and Urinalysis should not be performed if you are menstruating.

  • If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please let our staff know. Some tests are NOT suitable for pregnant women, such as X-ray examinations.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise.

  • You can take your prescription medications with clear water as usual.

  • There are two kinds of urine sample collection, depending on the nature of the intended test:

    • First catch urine sample for Chlamydia Trachomatis test:

      • You can collect the urine sample at any time of the day as long as it is more than 20 minutes since last urination.

      • Do not clean or wipe your genitals before passing urine.

      • Collect ~20ml of the first part of the urine stream (the first catch) directly into the specimen bottle, or when the bottle is around 1/3 full.

    • Midstream urine sample for Urinalysis:

      • Urinalysis should not be performed if you are menstruating.

      • A midstream urine sample means you do not collect the first or the last part of urine that comes out.

      • Collect ~20ml of urine directly into the specimen bottle, or when the bottle is around 1/3 full.

  • If your blood tests include glucose test, you should keep fasted for 8 hours except clear water before the blood taking. No fasting is needed for all other tests including lipid profile.

  • You can take your prescription medications with clear water as usual.

  • If you had dizziness or faintness after a blood test in the past, please let our staff know.

  • The cervical smear (Pap smear) test should not be performed if you are menstruating.

  • Please empty your bladder before the examination.

  • If you have had sexual experience, a transvaginal ultrasound scan will be performed. Please empty your bladder before the examination.

  • If you never have any sexual experience, a transabdominal ultrasound scan will be performed. You need to have a full bladder for the examination. Please drink at least 4 glasses of water before the examination.

  • Abstain for 3-7 days before collecting the semen sample.

  • Wash hands and the genital with soap and clean water, then dry with a paper towel before collecting the semen sample.

  • The entire ejaculate should go directly into the sterile container supplied.

  • Once collected, the semen sample must be kept as near to body temperature as possible. DO NOT PUT IT IN AN ICE WRAP. Keep the container upright and in an inside pocket during the journey to the laboratory.

  • The semen sample should reach the laboratory within one hour of collection.
